Enable Javascript

You MUST have Javascript enabled to use the Employment Application System!

All data validation in EAS is coded with Javascript. When a required field or valid data type is not entered, Javascript allows for friendly error messages to display. If Javascript is not accurately running on your browser, unfriendly ColdFusion errors are displayed outside of the system instead. If you receive a Javascript error message, follow the instructions provided. If you receive an unfriendly or ambiguous error message, click on your browser "Back" button and enter the appropriate information.

To ensure that Javascript is enabled for your browser, please perform the following:

Internet Explorer:
1. From the menu bar of the browser, select "Tools" then "Internet Options "
2. Select the Security tab from the pop-up window
3. Set the Internet security level to "Medium" or a lower level
4. Click the "OK" button

Netscape:
1. From the menu bar of the browser, select "Edit" then "Preferences"
2. Select the Advanced category from the pop-up window
3. Check the "Enable JavaScript" box
4. Click the "OK" button



Browser Version

EAS is designed to operate with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser (IE) or Netscape browser, version 4.0 or greater. To check your browser version, start your browser, select "Help", scroll to and select "About...".

AOL Users

If you are using AOL to access our system, you will need to launch the IE or Netscape browser over your AOL. You must be using version 3.0 or above of the America Online software for Windows. To check which version you have:
1. Run the America Online program
2. From the toolbar at the top of the screen, select "Help"
3. Click "About America Online".

If the version number is less than 3.0, upgrade your software by selecting "Go To", "Keyword", and then type Get95. This will allow you to download the 32-bit Windows 95 version of AOL 3.0.

Please read the following instructions for staring the IE or Netscape browser.

Internet Explorer:
1. After logging on to AOL, minimize your AOL welcome screen.
2. Find the "Start" button located on the lower left portion of your screen. Click the "Start" button to bring up a selection menu.
3. Scroll up to "Programs" which will open another set of menus.
4. Find the "Internet Explorer" folder, and select "Internet Explorer" to launch the browser.

Netscape:
1. After logging on to AOL, minimize your AOL welcome screen.
2. Find the "Start" button located on the lower left portion of your screen. Click the "Start" button to bring up a selection menu.
3. Scroll up to "Programs" which will open another set of menus.
4. Find the "Netscape Communicator" folder, and select "Netscape Navigator" to launch the browser.
